We are looking forward to welcoming our third pop up guest, local artist Alex Murdin, who is coming to take over our shop on the 1st until the 8th April 2023. For about a year Alex has been drawing the stones that make up some of the lesser known Bronze Age stone circles and rows on Dartmoor.
Quite by accident I made my early images drawing with Windsor and Newton Indian ink onto acetate - like the OK you see here - it retains exactly the marks first drawn. In fact this is what sparked my interest in Screenprinting - as an illustrator and lover of fluid mark making - i was delighted I could capture this fresh line and then print with it so easily.
You are the gift, you really are! For everyone interested in hearing more about our Salty's shop, you are giving your support and encouragement to us just by tuning in - and that means the world to us. Handprinted have been one of our main suppliers of ink and other screenprinting supplies since we began and we know we can get just what we need and it usually turns up next day, always packed with a mini roll of sweethearts! Of course its a race to open the pack to win the sweeties (I, Sandra usually win!!
